Tyler’s story
Tyler Peterson was in a serious car accident on Monday morning after dropping his two children off at school: Kayden (7) and Braelynn (4).
He underwent major surgery on Tuesday to repair his T1 vertebrae. Thankfully, the surgery went extremely well, and he is able to feel and move his body.
Tyler is dealing with significant pain and additional injuries, including multiple lacerations, facial fractures, a broken nose, sinus injuries, a bruised chest and ribs, and a head injury. He will be hospitalized for a while and has many months of physical therapy ahead.
Tyler was scheduled to move to Texas in early January for a new job, but due to his recovery timeline, that plan can no longer happen. He will be out of work for an extended period while still caring for his kids.
